Clair de Lune
 
Celestial, heavenly, and angelic. Clair de lune translates to “moonlight,” a quiet, silvery glow that softens everything it touches.
 
A pale silver base carries an irregular wash of blue that moves through the skein in small, shifting areas. The silk catches the light, while the mohair halo diffuses it, giving the colour a soft, luminous finish.
 
Dyed on Kid Mohair Silk, this base is airy and delicate, with a fine halo that adds lift and sheen.
 
Suggested Uses
• Held with a darker yarn (navy, charcoal, black) to soften and slightly haze the colour
• Worked on its own at a loose gauge for an airy, sheer fabric
• Simple stitches (stockinette, garter) to let the blue variation show without breaking it up
