Dragon Scales – Zebra Fingering
They say dragons don’t die, they shed. Somewhere in the space between smoke and sky, scales fall and catch the light before disappearing into earth and water. What’s left behind shimmers in shades of marine blue, violet, and brown, shifting quietly like metal worn smooth by time.
 
Dyed on our zebra merino nylon fingering base, the black strand adds subtle depth and variegated colours feel alive, layered, and a little untamed.

About the Base:
Our zebra Merino Fingering is an 80% Superwash Merino and 20% Nylon blend, plied with a dark strand that gives each skein its signature marled look. Soft yet durable, it adds depth and movement to any colourway — perfect for projects that balance texture and tone. It’s a versatile base that works just as well for everyday socks as it does for statement shawls and lightweight sweaters.
 
This yarn is hand-dyed in small batches, so no two skeins are exactly alike. I try to post pictures that accurately depict the colour way, however colours may vary from device to device.
